Writing a Back to Topic in Essay
A common problem with an essay is the lack of a main point. An essay's purpose is to present some basic information about something, and to make a connection between that knowledge and what the reader wants to know about that thing. A paper that has no point needs no conclusion; therefore, it is crucial to think about the next part of the essay.
An essay may begin with a general introduction to the topic. This may be as brief as a paragraph, or as long as a paragraph and a half. It is entirely up to the writer. Here are a few examples:
